OUR GINGER BEER

We're sailors, we love our rum.  When we had our first Dark n' Stormy we were hooked on Ginger Beer.  We bought cases of Ginger Beers and strong Ginger Ales from the grocery store.  We tried every rum we could get our hands on.  But the store-bought bottles were too sweet, and didn't have the spice we were looking for — thus began the quest to make our own.

Ginger, Citrus, Sugar, Water.  That's it.

After our first batch, POW!  Now that's some ginger flavor!  We kept working at it, sharing it, mixing it.

Our recipe was developed over five years of experimentation.  We source just the right ingredients — each element perfectly proportioned, and baked just right.  We think we've found perfection, and hope that you'll enjoy it too.

HOW TO

It looks a little murky at the bottom.  That's because all the good stuff settled down.  Just give the bottle a couple of gentle turns.  Pour over ice like lemonaid.  Mix with Goslings Black Strap Rum, Big Gin or Sun UNXLD Vodka.  Enjoy.

CAREFUL WITH THAT BOTTLE

Please refrigerate.  Ginger beer likes to stay cold!

Share with your friends and drink within 4 weeks of purchase.  It'll last longer than that, but slowly the ginger will quiet down and the carbonation will move to the front.

We require a bottle deposit, so rinse it out and bring it on back to us for a refill!

INGREDIENTS

INGREDIENTS

GINGER

We start with the finest organic ginger, carefully sourced and selected for its flavor and strength. The extra-tasty Peruvian ginger is back in the mix starting in May.  Each piece is hand chopped and juiced.

LIMES

Limes add exactly the right counterpoint to ginger.  We test each batch to ensure the balance is right on the spot.  As with our ginger, our limes are selected for their ripeness and flavor.  Each lime is halved and squeezed by hand.

SUGAR

The third element is organic cane sugar, which provides depth with just a hint of molasses flavor, and a clean finish.

WATER

Only the finest water from the Cedar River, filtered and dechlorinated.
